Unsurprising given articles about what was actually happening there. Europe doesn’t have any reason why battery manufacturing would be better there. It just wasn’t thought through properly. Maybe with more protectionism it could survive. But it’s weird that the EU has unfair tariffs against US automakers (four times the tariffs as US has on EU automakers) but didn’t think about how to protect Northvolt against cheaper Chinese manufacturers.
